Ansonia Clock Co. “La Chapelle” (The Chapel), ca. 1904. A 12-inch porcelain case in the New Art Tint Apple Green with a flat porcelain dial behind a beveled glass. The dial bears the Ansonia logo. The 8-day, time-and-strike signed movement is running strongly and striking the small cathedral gong. Note the figurehead at the top and the lovely irises.
